We’ve entered the year of 2016, and hopefully your past two-ish weeks have been as wonderful as mine! I made the executive decision that the best possible way to start this new year was to share some pictures of the delicious treats my family created for the holidays. As always, these treats are 100% gluten-free!
To make this decadent dessert: Prepare your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. Prepare your favorite brownie batter (I used Krusteaz Gluten Free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix for the ease of using a boxed mix). Lightly grease two muffin tins (I stress lightly here) then drop a heaping tablespoonful of cookie dough into the bottom and pressed it flat. Then pour an equal amount of brownie batter on top. Finally, garnish with a few pieces of pretzel. To bake, double the amount of time the box calls for (I believe these took roughly 30 minutes to cook through).
