Every once in a while I like to use the product review format as a way to express my deepest love for some of my favorite products. Today I share with you all So Delicious.
My love affair with this dairy-free company spans the past two years and runs quite deep. I’m happy to say that I have tried the majority of their products (at least the products that are in my local grocery stores). Unfortunately, not all of their products are gluten-free, but the majority are. More often than not, if a product isn’t gluten-free, they’ll usually have a GF equivalent. I regularly use their unsweetened original coconut milk to make my protein shakes, and a new favorite snack of mine includes their unsweetened vanilla yogurt with a Squarebar, Crunchy Flax from Enjoy Life, and some lightly salted, roasted almonds. I’ve also tried their Strawberry Yogurt, Vanilla Yogurt, Blueberry Yogurt, Chocolate Ice Cream, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Cookie Dough Ice Cream (shout out to my BF), Mint Chip Ice Cream, Mocha Almond Fudge Ice Cream… Last weekend I introduced myself to their cashew milk-based Dark Chocolate Truffle ice cream. Guys, that frozen dessert was literal food heaven. I’ve probably said that many times before about a variety of food items (i.e. pizza, a nice slice of bread, a hamburger, etc., etc.), but this falls under the category effortlessly. It was layers upon layers of chocolatey goodness: chocolate ice cream with ribbons of dark chocolate truffle all melting together on my taste buds. This pint combined with a Netflix movie starring Chris Evans meant that I had a very well spent Friday night. I’m like the president of the So Delicious fan club. I think that my deep appreciation for this company stems from the fact that their products actually taste good. Not only am I adhering to a lifestyle that my body craves, but I’m also being able to enjoy a decadent treat every once in a while or just enjoy some yogurt for snack.
